CONTINENTAL GT3-R MAKES GLOBAL DEBUT AT GOODWOOD

Making its global debut on the Bentley stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014 is the new Continental GT3-R – the most dynamic and fastest-accelerating Bentley ever produced. Inspired by Bentley’s race-winning Continental GT3 racer, the Continental GT3-R is a limited edition, the rarest and most dynamic member of the esteemed Continental family, hand-built in Crewe and finished in Bentley’s Motorsport division. The Continental GT3-R will be on display on the Bentley stand throughout the Festival weekend.

The Continental GT3 race car- the inspiration behind the GT3-R – will also be making an appearance at Goodwood. Fresh from itsrecent victory at the second round of the Blancpain Endurance Series at Silverstone, the GT3 will be piloted up the hill by modern-day Bentley Boy David Brabham, who drove a Bentley Speed 8 to second place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003. Also, the powerful Continental GT V8 S will driven up the hill by five-time Le Mans winner and Bentley Boy, Derek Bell

Three historic Bentleys will reunite for the first time in over a decade to complete Goodwood’s famous Hillclimb. The Le Mans-winning Speed Six Bentley, affectionately known as ‘Old Number 1’, will be joined by ‘Old Number 2’ and ‘Old Number 3'.  Both still in their original form, these two heritage Bentleys raced alongside Old Number 1 at Le Mans in 1930.

An impressive line-up of luxurious Bentley models will be displayed on the Bentley stand, and for the first time, Bentley will also be displaying a range of Pre-Owned models, on a separate stand in the Exhibitors’ Area.
